Frozen Banana Popsicles

Here is a simple and tasty treat for you today! I love ice cream in all forms and although this isn't really ice cream, these frozen banana popsicles are a great (and healthy) alternative. I am not really going to post a recipe with a list of ingredients because these popsicles are so easy to make and you will probably be able to remember how to do this off the top of your head.

I made 6 popsicles and to do this, simply cut 3 bananas in half (like right in the middle) and insert a lollipop or popsicle stick into the halves. Freeze the bananas on a parchment paper lined cutting board or tray. When the bananas have frozen, melt some chocolate to dip the popsicles in. For 6 popsicles, I used about 150 grams of dark chocolate. Dip the frozen popsicles in the melted chocolate and quickly roll them in some toppings. My favorite toppings are colorful sprinkles, chopped nuts, or shredded coconut but anything goes! As long as it sticks to the chocolate of course. Once you have your toppings on, place the banana popsicles back in the freezer. When the chocolate and toppings have set, feel free to transfer your popsicles to a air tight container.

I hope you'll make and enjoy these tasty and healthy popsicles!
